Newport Harbor
On this morning, I woke up quite early because I hadn’t adjusted to the time difference yet. I showered and got coffee in the hotel lobby. Coffee first, always. Yachting was on the agenda for the day. Yeah, I said that right, yachting. My friend’s roommate’s parents have a sailing yacht in the Newport Harbor and were generous enough to let us hop on for the day. The boat was beautiful. It had 3 bathrooms! The harbor was beautiful as well. Million dollar boats floating in vibrant blue water glistening in the sunshine. It was heaven. Being surrounded by so much money was jaw-dropping and motivating in a way. It makes me want to work hard so that I can be able to afford that type of lifestyle.
My drink of choice for the day was Capriccio Sangria with a slice of orange on ice. It is very refreshing. I highly recommend this drink. We yachted through the harbor and out to the gusty sea listening to music, drinking and enjoying each other’s company before docking for dinner.
