California Dreamin’

A few weeks ago I flew to the West Coast to spend Easter with my friend and his family. I was so excited for the trip that I had my outfits planned out and hung up about 2 months in advance.

I took this picture at the Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas. We stayed there two nights with his family. This was my favorite part of the trip because I really enjoyed spending time with them. The villas were so beautiful. The vegetation was lush and vibrant. It was nice to get a break from the cold and gray east coast as winter comes to an end.

This was a little hidden beach we visited on the last day. The nice part about being with a local is they know all the cool spots. We sipped on some White Claws and soaked up the sun for a few hours.

Later that evening we went to an Angels game at Anaheim Stadium. I love MLB games. The atmosphere is fun and it’s a great time to socialize.
